Winnicott
The theme of play is prevalent throughout Winnicott’s practice. Using textile-based materials to create squishy, abstract forms that are tactile and can be used for sensorial/playful interactions in relation to both body and space. Such sculptures are utilised to produce environments akin to soft play areas or sensory rooms. During recent times, Winnicott has explored animation as a way of manipulating colourful forms in a virtual presence

Delve
Delve’ (2021) is a sculptural and video piece that explores the notion of being incapsulated in tactility. The focus of the camera attempts to mimic how one might explore the formless landscape, visualising detail by detail. Both sculpture and video are abstract in form, the viewer can see certain visual maps of the world but never the full picture. By entering the landscape, the work hopes to evoke a playful and therapeutic language alongside sounds of chimes and distant pulses.
