I am a 24 year old Kent born artist currently based in Surrey.
The themes of my work are often my lived experience as a fat, queer, mentally ill, woman.
I use a range of mixed media within my practice,

often combining my skills in language, sculpture, screen print, painting, drawing and textiles.
I'm not shy about making the private public, if it means it will start a conversation.
I want to connect with people through my work.

I have always been inspired by Tracey Emins, honest, raw emotional work. I feel that sometimes work like that is dismissed because it’s “feminist art” or “just women problems” but it’s not. Love, loss, grief and pain are something everyone is capable of feeling, we just prefer not to make it common knowledge. That being said I am a proud intersectional feminist, which shapes my world view. That is why although my work is deeply personal I strive to make it universal. In every exhibition I have been in I always offer up a personal piece of me.
I’m constantly trying to refine my work and fit it to the space because there’s no point trying to have a conversation if it’s not relevant.

Until You’re Blue In The Face - 2021

Until You’re Blue In The Face is a piece exploring identity, assimilation and mental health. The work focuses on the feeling of estrangement, desperation, frustration and futility.
