"Bound to Earth" is a performance adapted to an online gallery curated by Ale, Kelli, Ty, Chelsea and Georgia.

Our project adopts a direct approach in establishing the interdependent relationship between humanity and Mother Earth. Through the use of shibari, a stylised form of bondage derived from Japanese culture, we encompass a hyperbolic attitude when accenting the physical bondage of man and nature. Through adorning trees with knotted rope, we wish to emphasise the affinity between beings and nature. By using different trees amongst separate spheres, we promote an idea of connectivity and consequently create a network.
